South Africa is excited to play a Test match on Pakistani soil. After 13 years, the two teams will face each other in white elite cricket
None of the members of the South African team have any experience of playing on Pakistani soil. Which has left the Proteas somewhat on the backfoot. However, the African cricketer hopes that the tradition of favoring Pakistan's wicket-batsmen will continue.
South Africa batsman Faf du Plessis said: 'Cricketer, South Africa last played Test cricket here 13 years ago. It is gratifying for us that cricket is going to return after so many days. We don't have the experience to play here, but I usually hear that these wickets are in favor of the batsmen. I hope they haven't changed their behavior.
The first Test between South Africa and Pakistan will start on January 26 at the Karachi National Stadium.
